AMKA Engineering

Know which electrical assets are at risk — while they stay live.

The AMKA Electrical Health Assessment finds hidden electrical risk through thermography and partial discharge testing, rates how urgent it is, and turns it into a report you can act on — no shutdown required.

02 / Choose the depth

Three tiers. Start where the risk is.

Most facilities start with the essentials and add depth as outage windows and criticality allow. Pricing depends on the site — tell us the scope and we’ll quote it.

Essential

Thermography

Infrared survey of accessible electrical assets under load, with an engineer-endorsed report. Compliance-grade thermography.

Standard

Thermography + PD

Adds partial discharge testing for MV/HV switchgear, in one integrated condition report.

Comprehensive

Full CBM programme

Adds partner methods — vibration, oil & DGA, earthing — and periodic monitoring across the year.

03 / Why a programme, not a one-off

A scan is the start of the loop, not the end.

A fault you find is not resolved until it has been corrected and measured again. That loop — assess, correct, verify, monitor — is why the Electrical Health Assessment works best as a programme rather than a single visit.

Conditions drift. An asset that was fixed once and never re-checked carries a false sense of safety — the most dangerous condition of all, because no one is watching it any more. A recurring assessment keeps the loop closed.

04 / Reports you can defend

Independent sign-off, on every report.

Findings are validated from outside AMKA’s own opinion — so a report holds up in an audit, a claim, or a board paper.

Endorsement Every report reviewed and endorsed by a registered Professional Engineer (ST 275kV).
Methods & competency Certified thermographer & PD analyst · Authorised 33kV Chargeman for safe HV isolation and testing.
Reporting standards ST · DOSH · TNB · NFPA 70B · IEEE · NETA.
