What does website maintenance cost for a small company site in Malaysia?

Examples checked on 6 September 2026 include Cybergate Care Basic at RM1,200/year, BrandSwift Standard at RM200/month and AMKA Care Starter at RM600/year plus domain. Their platforms, update allowances and support differ.

Separate these costs

• Hosting and domain: keep the site and address available; content changes and software upkeep may be separate.
• Maintenance: check the supported platform, backups, updates, monitoring and response terms.
• Content work: compare included hours or edits, their limits and excess charges.

Does an annual care fee include moving my existing website?

At AMKA, every migration is quoted separately. Starter includes a self-serve first-site build using supplied content; assisted builds cost extra. Ask each provider what onboarding includes.

Budget setup + annual care + domain + extras for year one. Renewal excludes the original setup unless you commission another implementation project.

Using an illustrative RM60 .com domain, before extras:

• Starter first site: about RM660 in year one and at renewal.
• Existing site moving to Lite: quoted migration/setup plus about RM1,260 in year one; about RM1,260 at renewal.

These use current fees, not guaranteed future prices. Starter examples exclude assisted work, writing, forms and paid edits. Full plan allowances and extras are published separately. The Website Operating System is a separate product at RM3,600/year plus setup.

Can AMKA maintain my existing WordPress website?

No ongoing WordPress or plugin maintenance. We assess suitable company sites for a separately quoted move to our template. Stores, booking systems and member portals are outside Website Care.
